Culture in Prague

Often described as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Prague is rich in culture – from the classical to the cutting edge.

Kulturama Praha is a special program run by NYU Prague staff that selects some the best of Prague culture for our students. We often have free tickets to sought-after productions, plus special tours, workshops and lectures just for our students. From seeing a Mozart opera in theatre where it premiered to going to a sold-out hockey game to visiting a puppet carver’s workshop to learning to cook Czech dumplings – all this is part of our unique culture program.

“One of the best ways to get to know a country is through its culture,”says Kulturama founder Sarah Coffey. “With Kulturama they can explore many aspects of Czech life getting to know their temporary home a little better.”
